Described by fine art painter Fillip Firsov.

With a sign compiled from the Indian and Chinese flags, this bike is covered with a rich selection from ancient art of many Asian countries. The back mud guard features a Korean duck at the base, a miniature Buddha head from Cambodia, a full Thai figure of another Buddha in silver and in the Centre a copy of a Mogul chief miniature portrait from the 18th century, that wears a turban and highly decorated clothes. Above this set are two mounted Moguls from an earlier Chinese depiction of them playing polo. On the front mud guard are two figures from an early Hiroshige ( Japanese) print from the kabuki actors of the mid nineteenth century floating world in japan.

Hanging over this is a piece of Arabic text from a wall painting in the Middle East. I wanted to combine a display of calligraphic and figurative art together on this piece to show how the two art forms are both so sculptural and flowing and interconnected more than in any other continent. On the frame I have excerpts from a book on the history of languages in between images of Indian wall Frescoes, a medieval Chinese princess, a Chinese dragon from blue ceramics, a Chinese emperor in green, Chinese paper paintings of nature and calligraphy.

From Afghanistan I painted a classical deity that almost looks Greek on the back left fork and a star patten on the right. On the other side we have a typical blue starry sky and an Arabic astronomer with a geometric colored pattern behind his head from medieval times, displaying the mental process of painting from the observation of cosmic patterns. Also there are some Far Eastern patterns and the Renaissance mask of a Persian king in blue colors in the middle of the frame.
